This policy covers bestfuturesdiscount.com. The short version: Google Analytics counts visits and clicks, there are no advertising scripts, and there are no forms or accounts.

Who runs this site

Cookies, analytics and ads

We use Google Analytics 4, a service from Google, to count visits, see which pages people read and how they found them, and count clicks on our affiliate links and Copy buttons. After a page loads, your browser fetches Google’s script from googletagmanager.com and sends Google the page you’re on, the page you came from, your browser, device and screen size, and those clicks. Google works out an approximate location, such as country and city, from your IP address. Google says Google Analytics 4 doesn’t log or store IP addresses. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services.

Outside the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_7RZNPWL71H, to tell new visitors from returning ones. They expire after two years. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland it sets no cookies: your browser sends the same page and click data without a cookie or any ID that links one visit to the next.

We don’t use this data for advertising. The site tells Google that ad storage and ad personalization are off for every visitor, and it runs no advertising or social media scripts. Apart from Google’s script, the pages, the font and the code all come from bestfuturesdiscount.com.

What we collect

There are no forms, comments, newsletters or accounts on this site, so you never give us your name, email or payment details here.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: the IP address, browser type, page requested and time of each request. Hosts keep logs like these to deliver the site and keep it secure.

What your browser stores

On phones and tablets, our guides show a bar at the bottom of the screen with our affiliate code DLAB. If you close that bar, your browser saves one flag, sbar_closed, in its session storage, so the bar stays closed while you read. The flag never leaves your device, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab. Apart from that flag, our own code stores nothing, and puts nothing in local storage. Google Analytics cookies are covered above.

Clipboard

When you press a Copy button, a “Copy code and open Apex” button or the code button in that bar, the site writes our affiliate code DLAB to your clipboard, replacing what was there. It never reads your clipboard.

Links to Apex Trader Funding

Our outbound links go to apextraderfunding.com. Once you follow one, you’re on Apex Trader Funding’s website, and Apex’s own privacy policy and cookies apply. That includes its referral cookie: if you arrive through one of our affiliate links, Apex may set a cookie that records that you came from us, so it can credit a purchase to our affiliate account.

Your choices

To keep Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits, install Google’s opt-out browser add-on or use a content blocker. Deleting the cookies above removes the ID that links your visits. The site works the same either way.

You can clear or block session storage in your browser settings at any time. The site works the same without it, except that a bar you closed comes back on the next page. Our affiliate code DLAB is always shown as plain text, so you can also copy it by hand.

If what this site stores, loads or sends changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
